Benepac ® An innovative group insurance benefits program that gives front-line agents the power to target small and mid-sized businesses. Life Insurance Group life insurance provides financial assistance in the event of a plan member's death. Optional Life insurance is also available. Optional Life This is an optional life benefit that can be applied for and offers life insurance protection, 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world. It is available to employees and their spouses for a minimum of $30,000 and a maximum of $300,000 in units of $10,000. Accidental Death, Disease & Dismemberment ADD&D provides financial assistance if tragedy strikes and the plan member dies as the result of an accident. It also provides coverage if an accident results in the loss of a limb, sight or hearing. Some additional benefits include rehabilitation, spousal occupation re-training and a daycare benefit. Optional AD,D&D Insurance is also available. Optional Accidental Death, Disease & Dismemberment This is an optional plan that can be applied for. Plan 1 covers the employee only and Plan 2 would cover the employee, spouse and dependent children. You must apply for a minimum of $50,000 to a maximum of $300,000 in units of $50,000. Dependent Life Dependent Life provides a life insurance benefit for the plan member's spouse and dependent children. |

Short Term Disability STD coverage provides income when an employee is unable to work due to hospitalization, accident or sickness, up to 17 or 26 weeks. Long Term Disability LTD coverage provides income when an employee is disabled and unable to perform the duties of his or her own occupation. Benefits commence after 119 or 180 days. BBD's LTD coverage also includes immediate access to Posaction ® Plus assistance program.
